SPARC is the only nonprofit in Virginia providing community-integrated day programs specifically designed for adults with severe and multiple disabilities. We exist because families created us when there was no other option.

Since 2006, SPARC has survived on an unstable combination of modest participant payments, private donations, and grants. All of our participants live below the federal poverty line. Your donation directly supports:

Virginia, not indigent families and private donors, is responsible for ensuring and funding integrated day services for people with significant disabilities. SPARC is now carrying a state obligation on the backs of families least able to bear it.

Annual Gratitude Gala

Join us each year for our signature fundraising event - the SPARC Gratitude Gala. This elegant evening brings together participants, families, staff, donors, and community leaders to celebrate our impact and raise funds for the year ahead.

The Gala features dinner, silent and live auctions, entertainment, and heartfelt stories from the SPARC community. It's our largest fundraising event of the year.
