The history in the name
Opportunity once had a name.
Caerus is the Latin form of Kairos (Καιρός), the youngest son of Zeus and the Greek personification of the opportune moment — not time as it passes, but time as it arrives.
Lysippos cast him in bronze for the city of Sikyon: a figure forever running on winged feet, with a long lock of hair falling across his face and the back of his head shaved bare. You catch him by the forelock as he comes toward you. Once he has passed, there is nothing left to grab.
The epigram Posidippus wrote for that statue put it plainly — no one whom Kairos has already raced by will ever take hold of him from behind.
That is the whole idea. The right tool, at the right moment, is worth more than the perfect tool a moment too late. Caerus Digital is named for the reach.

Our Foundation
Caerus Digital was founded by a retired U.S. Air Force pilot with two decades of high-stakes leadership and more than a decade of hands-on software development. That mix of discipline and curiosity shapes everything we ship: real problems, solved carefully, tested hard, and supported personally.
